I make the complex simple.
I'm a former salesman who took a turn and went into software
development. After years of working around the world consulting
for startups and a few larger tech companies, I developed an
unshakeable need to know how to build stuff for myself, so I
learned to code.
When I'm not traveling or in front of a screen, you can usually
find me in the mountains on a snowboard, dirtbike, or floating
down a river.
My unique combination of business acumen and technical knowledge allows me write impactful code quickly.
My tech stack leans frontend with React at its core. Beyond that, I'm solid in modern (but also tried and true) tech such as Node, Express, React Query, Redux, Vite, PHP, Git, SASS, Webpack, Docker, Storybook, Material UI, Pantheon, Jest, Azure, Figma, and more.
I used to sell door-to-door. Now I build API's, design systems, and stunning websites. You won't find a developer with a background like mine.
As a Senior Frontend Developer at The MX Group, I have a direct role in building, deploying, and managing dozens of client apps and websites. I work behind the scenes for household names like Lysol, Cummins, US Cellular to bring our agencies brilliant designs to life.
At HMS, I mainly worked with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, REST API's, and a growing number of other technologies to build tools that help sell thousands of houses every year.
As a business technology consultant, I have worked with startups to mid-size companies to help them grow into new markets across the US, Canada, Australia, and China. I've worked with clients in industries such as media, retail, technology, staffing, real estate, and more. My expertise lies in helping organizations streamline their operations through technology.
My role at X-Team, a software engineer for hire company, was to explore the feasibility of the Australian market and create systems to grow the company's presence there. I led marketing and PR campaigns, sponsored events, built partnerships, and sold web development contracts.
